W13. Can Wikipedia disappear? - Seron Kim

Wikipedia is one of the websites used by many people around the world. People get the information they want through Wikipedia, and the missing information is written by themselves. And Wikipedia is useful for many people because it can be edited by anyone, anytime, anywhere if the Internet is connected. Will these wikipedia disappear? I can say firmly that it is not.

Because Wikipedia is not just a website for information. People get help from information edited by others in Wikipedia, provide their edited information to others, and interact indirectly with each other. Also, when necessary, discussions are held for consensus, messages are exchanged through talk function, and direct interaction with each other.

People need to interact with others in their lives. We can see that Wikipedia is a website that not only serves 'information' but also acts as an 'interaction'. Therefore, people will continue to use Wikipedia constantly, and Wikipedia will become a part of people's lives. In order for Wikipedia to be steadily positioned in people's lives, Wikipedia will have to evolve and evolve on its own. We all need to look into the development of Wikipedia.
