W6. How important is it to be civil online on the Internet? - Seron Kim
Nowadays, the Internet of this age is enormously developed and covers the whole world, forming a society different from offline. We use the Internet to communicate and interact with others in communities where we have interests, information, and so on.
There are many rules and courtesy on the Internet as many people gather. We need to protect these norms and netiquette with civic consciousness. It can be said that the correct Internet culture has been established when these are kept.
The Internet is characterized by anonymity. Anonymity allow people to make comments without being noticed. However, there is also the problem of anonymity. A small number of Internet users are hiding behind this anonymity and putting up a bad word or doing something wrong. It also makes it easy for other users to avoid hurting words. This is a clear problem and can be said to be a disadvantage of the Internet. We need to have citizenship on the Internet and have a sense of responsibility for their actions.
ReplyDeleteI think the anonymity on the Internet is worth discussing. Some people who use the Internet have some anonymity and are irresponsible. I have to worry about how to solve these problems.
