Online also uses text to communicate with people and to form relationships with others. Because of this, users should be responsible for all of the interactions online and have a high level of etiquette as a 'citizen'.
2. Interesting Point
With the development of media, we are free to express opinions and participate in various interactions. Citizens concentrate on social issues and national affairs with civic consciousness. For instance, there is a system called 'Cheong Wa Dae national petition', which allows people to make suggestions on the Internet to the nation. After the agenda is put on the online bulletin board, it can be implemented in the country if it is supported by multiple people. It is an extension of the passive democracy of the people who have indirectly participated in politics. They used the Internet to realize democracy by directly participating in the petition with a sense of citizenship. This is a dramatic example of civic consciousness shown on the Internet.
