W2. My new edits - Park ji-sung Road. {2012047790 Park Jong-Hoon(박종훈)}
1.summarize and link
I created a new article on Wikipedia called Park
Ji-Sung Road. It is a road located in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, and it was made to
commemorate Park's achievements in the World Cup in 2005. Park Ji-Sung is one
of the global sports stars born in Suwon. I edited about the road named Park
Ji-Sung and also briefly described Park Ji-Sung Football Center, which is on
the way to the building.

2.interesting items learned
Park Ji-sung is a world class sports star born
in Suwon. And I was born in Suwon too. And I lived in the town where Park
Ji-sung Road is located. From 12 to 20 years old. Our house was even right next
to the Park Ji-sung Road. I was there at the opening ceremony. Maybe I was 18years
old. The road was very familiar to me and I used to go to school when I was a
freshman. Many Suwon citizens knew the way, but most others did not. Because
Wikipedia did not contain this content in both English and Korean. It is
meaningful that a place that is very familiar to me and meaningful is shared
with people around the world. And it was very interesting that the first time
began with me.

I think
it's a way to split Wikipedia, but I don't know when and how to use each
feature, and whether to use it at will. It may be a new one, but I would
appreciate it if the professor and other classmates could explain it easily or
discuss your opinions freely.
Hello! I definitely see your point with the feeling of contributing something original - even something that is maybe knowledge that only you or very few people possess. Perhaps this is where it gets risky, if you don't find enough sources for the statements you put in the article, it may be removed, such as the first paragraph on the article. I saw you used the work "90-pyeong forest". What does that mean? :D

DeleteIn my guess, "90-pyeong forest " means a forest about 297.5 square meters. In Korea, the area is often expressed in units of ' pyeong, ' which is about 3.3 square meters per pyeong.

That’s right. The 90-pyeong square is 297 square meters. As it is an excerpt from a Korean article, it was misspelled in Korean. Now I've fixed it!
DeleteThanks for your interest and advice! : D
DeleteI also felt it was difficult to provide references when editing Wikipedia. Given Wikipedia's nature, I do not think it is very important to improve the accuracy of its sources, which I have not mastered. It would be nice to be provided with a brief guide.
