My first edits. Describe why you made them. - Suijn Park

1. Summarize what i did

Before I did my editing assignment, I never wrote words in Wikipedia. I always use Wikipedia to get some new information. So I was so impressed by this assignment. First, this is so new thing for me. Actually I don't like to try something new. Maybe I am conservative one. Second, I like to get information through the website. but I've never imagined that I'll be a one of information writer. Also I've never knew that writing a fact is not easy. I think writing something in Wikipedia is really difficult because of the fact is really important. I should write right things and don't copy others writing. What I choose the first is Hanyang University ERICA Education Research Industry Cluster Program. I'll introduce about this.


2. New, Interesting or Unusual things of the edit
ERICA of Hanyang University ERICA mean Education Research Industry Cluster at Ansan. So ERICA Campus move with this program with the name of campus. Recently I know about this program. It helps to student to develop knowledge and practical skills that can be used immediately after the employment. So some of institutes and company placed in Hanyang University ERICA Campus. For example, Gyeong-gi Techno Park and LG Inno tech, KERI (Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute) etc.
So why do I interested this program ? Many Korean 20's have a problem to find a job after graduating. But there is no chance to experience of environment of company or government institute in college years. But I can try these things in ERICA Campus. It helps us (ERICA students) to find a job efficiently and to have experience.
So how can us do this program? First, enroll this program in Hanyang portal.
Second, take 4 Cluster subjects at least. (should take a B0 at least)
Third, You should take a offline training of ERICA University once at least.
I think this is very efficient program to student in university. I worry about the finding job too so I'm going to think about this program next semester.

3. Discussion
How many students took this program ? Because I've never seen participants of this program actually. So I don't know this program is really going on right now.
And I wonder is this program is really works for us to find a job or real experience of company or government institute.

W5. Can we trust Wikipedia? Yun-Jin Kim

Then I want to ask. Can we trust News? I think Wikipedia is based on sources. Every time we edit on Wikipedia we need the sources. If we don’t put sources, the information we wrote would be deleted.   So I think asking ‘How can we trust Wikipedia’ is kind of similar to ‘How can we trust News’. I know there could be subjective opinion on Wikipedia. If the topic is unpopular, the public opinion doesn’t focus, there’s could be no feedback and that makes Wiki subjective. for this reason, we have to think before we choose the topic in Wiki. If the topic isn’t famous enough and have no sources, we should think this information isn’t sure enough. but if the topic has clear sources we can have a trust on that information. I think it is not important to ask, ‘is the Wikipedia trustful’. It is important to ask ‘is this information on Wikipedia has a exact source?’.

These days lots of controversial problems are rising. And because of those problems, people fight on the Internet. But I think most of problems happen because of a lack of civic attitudes. As I highlighted the discussion section of Wikipedia last post, talking together with having civic attitudes is very important point. On the Internet lots of people meet. And this means all of them has different thinking and experiences different cultures. So it is certain that everyone's opinion is different. But I think from this difference, the collective intelligence comes. So I think this difference is very important.
