Extra posting : how do we participate in Web 2.0? How do we create the modern-day culture?

Nowadays, the access of internet is way more easier than before, so we can all participate in Web 2.0. The participation can be the smallest by sharing information through our social media account on our own pages; but it can also be the biggest by using our social media account to let people know about our culture or others culture.
Sharing things is the easier way to participate in Web 2.0, and everybody in 2018 is doing that. It can be sharing pictures, information or videos about a travel experience in a travel group on facebook or just sharing the travel of others in your own social media pages (twitter, facebook…).
We can also be one of the source of the information by vlogging, making review on YouTube, having a blog or sharing our thoughts on twitter.
With all this shared information, we let others be well informed about different culture without having to buy a book or something else. And I think that the web 2.0 allow people to be informed about the current culture with all the little changes which have been done.

W5. Can we trust Wikipedia? Yun-Jin Kim

Then I want to ask. Can we trust News? I think Wikipedia is based on sources. Every time we edit on Wikipedia we need the sources. If we don’t put sources, the information we wrote would be deleted.   So I think asking ‘How can we trust Wikipedia’ is kind of similar to ‘How can we trust News’. I know there could be subjective opinion on Wikipedia. If the topic is unpopular, the public opinion doesn’t focus, there’s could be no feedback and that makes Wiki subjective. for this reason, we have to think before we choose the topic in Wiki. If the topic isn’t famous enough and have no sources, we should think this information isn’t sure enough. but if the topic has clear sources we can have a trust on that information. I think it is not important to ask, ‘is the Wikipedia trustful’. It is important to ask ‘is this information on Wikipedia has a exact source?’.
