W10. What would make writing on Wikipedia easier for me? - Solène Huille

As we saw before, Wikipedia is open to everyone, and everyone can edit. But in some countries, Wikipedia is less developed. Then it is useful for Wikipedia to see if it is always easy to use.

Since I have been using Wikipedia and modifying articles with this Collective Intelligence course, I noticed that there are several things that could allow me to write more often or more on Wikipedia.
- First, I must know how to use my sandbox and more often. Indeed, it is a good way to create articles when they are not ready and take the time to improve them several times, if I am not sure of some details. I can also share my sandbox if I want to write an article with a friend.
- Communicating with other users in a easier way could allow to talk more with Wikipedia users and it can be nice to have more interaction and to write more on Wikipedia, by this way.
- I think having more knowledge for some subjects would help me too, because sometimes I would like to edit undeveloped articles but I cannot because of my lack of knowledge, I am not an expert.
- Finding good references more easily would be another interesting aspect for me. Sometimes I have trouble finding adequate references on the subject I want. But it is essential to have good sources to improve articles and collaborate on Wikipedia.

The question I have is the following: Is there a Wikipedia easier to use than others? For example, is French Wikipedia easier to use than English Wikipedia? If it is the case, what can we do to improve all the Wikipedia to have similar ways of using?
