W10. What would make writing on Wikipedia easier for me?

There is an inconvenience that I did not know when I was only using Wikipedia without editing. It is a part of 'photography' that I asked a while ago.

Wikipedia uploads a photo after uploading it to a wiki commons, searching for a URL or keyword, and then uploading it. It is different from other site formats. Of course, I think it is because of copyright problems, Wikipedia seems to have borrowed this way. But the process is cumbersome. If Wikipedia want more users to participate in editing, it need to streamline them.
Also, One of the ways to increase readability is to move the location of the photo, which is not easy for Wikipedia. I asked professor last time. The location of the picture was changed by moving the code text of the picture to another place. If it is possible to change the position of the picture with visual editing, it will be more convenient editing.

  1. I agree with your article. I also had a lot of trouble trying to edit and add photos to Wikipedia. If I do not have enough photos and want to get from another site without permission, I will not be able to bring my own because of a copyright problem. Of course, I respect the copyright law, but I also think that I wish to alleviate the strict system.

  2. Visual editing is a convenient way for Wikipedia users. However, in the end, you need to know the source code to move the picture code text and edit it the way I originally wanted to. Yet Wikipedia is not enough to say it has addressed the convenience of its users.
