W.10 What would make writing on Wikipedia easier for me? - ChaeHyeon Lee

Wikipedia is a place where anyone can freely create and edit articles. There are many factors that make it easier to write on Wikipedia, but I have three reasons for this.
 
The first reason is the easy editing of Wikipedia. Wikipedia is as easy to use as anyone can freely edit. Users can simply learn and edit. Even if the structure is editable by anyone, if the editing system is difficult, it will be difficult for beginners to access easily. I think Wikipedia's easy editing tools have had a big impact on people's accessibility.
 
The second reason is immediate feedback. A novice editor like me feels that even if I look at the editing methods offered by Wikipedia, I don’t know much when I am editing. Skilled editors leave feedback in a better direction. I think that the this is great for making edit in Wikipedia. The presence of skilled editors provides a guideline for beginners. Experienced editors can edit the article and leave a short comment or tell you what is missing through the Talk page. The feedback you receive will be helpful when editing next time. Wikipedia has an editorial policy, but even beginners may not understand it or care too much about it. In doing so, skilled editors give advice and help you move in a better direction.
 
The third reason is that it is based on the source. Wikipedia is a place where it is edited based on a clear source, not a place to write my thoughts. So if the source is clear, there is no big limit to editing Wikipedia’s articles. If your own personal opinion is written on Wikipedia, someone may hesitate. However, accurate sources are essential and articles are created accordingly. Wikipedia creates articles through personal ideas, but does not include personal opinions. I think that it makes it possible to edit relatively freely and to feel less burdened by the effects of anonymity.
 
Making it easy to write in Wikipedia is important. I was still a beginner, so I thought of the reasons as a beginner. Also, I think that the more easily accessible the environment for beginners, the more knowledgeable Wikipedia will become.

    I think it is important to make it easy for beginners to write in Wikipedia. The more new people there are, the more new and diverse information can be created. In fact, I'm having trouble making new information because Wikipedia already has a lot of resources. So, I must try harder. I hope that more people will join together to become more rich Wikipedia.

These days lots of controversial problems are rising. And because of those problems, people fight on the Internet. But I think most of problems happen because of a lack of civic attitudes. W5. Can we trust Wikipedia? Yun-Jin Kim

Then I want to ask. Can we trust News? I think Wikipedia is based on sources. Every time we edit on Wikipedia we need the sources. If we don’t put sources, the information we wrote would be deleted.   So I think asking ‘How can we trust Wikipedia’ is kind of similar to ‘How can we trust News’. I know there could be subjective opinion on Wikipedia. If the topic is unpopular, the public opinion doesn’t focus, there’s could be no feedback and that makes Wiki subjective. for this reason, we have to think before we choose the topic in Wiki. If the topic isn’t famous enough and have no sources, we should think this information isn’t sure enough. but if the topic has clear sources we can have a trust on that information. I think it is not important to ask, ‘is the Wikipedia trustful’. It is important to ask ‘is this information on Wikipedia has a exact source?’.
