W13. Can Wikipedia disappear? - Hyerim Won
Wikipedia is still a controversy of collective intelligence. However, many people have participated for a long time to make it a universal encyclopedia, and many are still involved. So basically, Wikipedia won't disappear. As technology advances, I think Wikipedia is the beginning of the platform that increased accessibility to information and free discussion.
So it is interesting to note that summary of the universal encyclopedic vision is its aspiration of expansiveness. Although there have been several platforms for the universal encyclopedia, it is interesting to note that the platform itself has been set up to be an editor for Wikipedia. So while the evidence remains controversial, we should continue to develop the means of 'critical judgment', as the author says, we should have a debate on Wikipedia. Discussions should also be expanded to new perspectives. Then, unexpected new problems are discovered and can lead to better progress.
Then we should expand the debate through critical judgment. So what do we do to increase the number of participants? Also, what would happen if these discussions were limited to English Wikipedia?

I also think there is a problem if the discussion is limited to English Wikipedia. No matter how many English speakers are, users will still use their native language version of Wikipedia more. There is a danger that the problem may not be able to solve if it is limited to English Wikipedia.
