W9. Discuss Reagle's Chapters 3~4 - Jung Seung Kim

In my opinion, Everyone should be use The Wikipedia to search the data that they want.
So, It can see The Wikipedia can be used by anyone for free. Everyone can search the data or blog the data to Wikipedia.

But, It must have the regulation. Wherever there is a troll. The troll can also cause gender discrimination or racial discrimination. To prevent this, proper regulation is needed.

I read the Chapter 4 very interestingly, This Chapter say, The troll is the cause of the problem, but it can also spark Wikipedia. They say The Wikipedia is a symbol of joint content. It is transparency and Intergrity But also they warned about Discrimination.
So I could see they say to us, The Wikipedia is the most common content that every can use free.


But I have a question,  How te regulate The troll? In twitter, It has the block function, But Is Wikipedia also have Block? I want How dose Wikipedia block.

W5. Can we trust Wikipedia? Yun-Jin Kim

Then I want to ask. Can we trust News? I think Wikipedia is based on sources. Every time we edit on Wikipedia we need the sources. If we don’t put sources, the information we wrote would be deleted.   So I think asking ‘How can we trust Wikipedia’ is kind of similar to ‘How can we trust News’. I know there could be subjective opinion on Wikipedia. If the topic is unpopular, the public opinion doesn’t focus, there’s could be no feedback and that makes Wiki subjective. for this reason, we have to think before we choose the topic in Wiki. If the topic isn’t famous enough and have no sources, we should think this information isn’t sure enough. but if the topic has clear sources we can have a trust on that information. I think it is not important to ask, ‘is the Wikipedia trustful’. It is important to ask ‘is this information on Wikipedia has a exact source?’.
