W9. Discuss Reagle's chapters 3 and 4

1. Summary
Wikipedia is an open content community, often described as the core value of providing open content. But it is not easy to balance freedom of expression with people's safety and the concerns arising from the project itself. In particular, Wikipedia's open content concept works in a newer way than ever before, but it is not a key factor in explaining Wikipedia's success. The collaborative culture of the community is more important than the technology that works on the principles of the open content community. Examples include a neutral view of knowledge issues among Wikipedia participants and a sincere attitude toward fellow donors.

2. Interesting Point
From the sentence " A productive contributor who can not collaborate is not a productive contributor, " I realized how important Wikipedia is to the collaborative culture. What's interesting is that such a determined sentence can come from Wikipedia, which is available to anyone.

3. Discussion

What makes this collaborative culture possible? Wikipedia emphasizes the value of ' community collaboration culture ', but we haven't obligation to follow it. Nevertheless, we want to discuss where the power to make people produce quality content through polite discussions comes from.
