W9. Discuss Reagle's Chapters 3-4 MinSeung Sung 2016062706

After reading this, I thought the definition of the word, openness shouldbe put ahead of everything. This is because the word's meaning can be different in various situation. Above all things, because Wikipedia is a special case in Internet dictionary, accurate the wording is an important part.
Today, "openness" is one of the main value for success in society. The closed- society has very low development possibility and this was proved in history. If so, what does openness mean in Wikipedia?

In my opinion, behavior inside the law, and do not harm anyone is the real meaning of openness. From reading, openness can be explained in five ideas. They are 'open content', 'transparency', 'integrity', 'non-discrimination', and 'noninterference'.

Above all, the most interesting part to me was allowing people to use openness words. Generally, it is prohibited to use the word that is not standard language. Probably, the reason for that is about accuracy. However, Wikipedia has several traits that are differentiated. I think these points can allow Wikipedia to use free wording.

I think "openness" is a very delicate word because of keep balance of "openness" in particular. In spite of that, I believe that the Wikipedia will keep going on with the good Samaritan.
