W9. Discuss Reagle's Chapters 3-4

The chapter is about openness on Wikipedia which is one of the motto of the platform. " Everyone can edit ".
What I found interesting is that on the text they talk about vandalism and the fact that does anyone is really free to edit ?
The problem with free editing is that everyone can edit but does anyone has really the skills to do that ? I think anyone can't edit on Wikipedia even if they really underline that its possible. Because everyone doesn't have a writing skill and the ability to put their own belief aside while editing on one subject. So, in my opinion Wikipedia is not that open because you have restrictions, you have protected articles.
Moreover everyone is also free to comment your edit and select it as an article for deletion because they don't like it maybe because they find out that you're a women or you have a different opinion. And this point is underline on the chapter 4 with the notion of vandalism and in the chapter 3 with the notion of the good faith collaboration.
So, as far as I am concerned Wikipedia should really put forward the fact that is maybe a free editing platforl but the platform also has restriction to be an encyclopedia of quality because everyone don't know that And they can feel fooled by Wikipedia because they found out that they can't to everything they want.
