W9 : Reagle’s chapter 3 and 4 - Sujin Park

1. Summary
Wiki members are a relatively novel way of working together in many ways.  This article tell us the importance about 'Collaboration'. So collaboration culture is one of important factor in determining what its future holds. But the culture is always hard to understand because it's always changed. On Wikipedia, community policy offer many things transparent. So this culture is important to explain the success of Wikipedia.

2. Interesting Point
This line is so interested to me. 'New contributors are prospective "members" and are therefore our most valuable resource. we must treat newcomers with kindness and patience." I as a newcomer of Wikipedia totally agree with that line. Some people of Wikipedia teach me many things through talk page and question page. I wrote bad articles and edits. Some people just deleted my articles and edits. But someone doesn't. They teach me how to write and edit in Wikipedia. So I could adapt in Wikipedia. Now I'm still a newcomer. But I will help someone who couldn't do something what I can do.

3. Discussion Point
How Wikipedia gather and maintain newcomers effectively? I think Wikepedia's design and interface looks so hard and different to newcomers. Could Wikipedia change these things? or Simplicity will be maintained ?
