W3 Why do you think people use Wikipedia? Why others write for it? - 2016062706 MinSeung Sung

In the past, people used diverse methods to search information that they want. They went to the library and search books or ask their friends. Even, they had to meet the professionals in person to get an accurate knowledge. However these days, almost everyone surfs the Internet.
From surfing the Internet, people can find every answer to their questions.  The information from the Internet involves everything. For example, there is information can get from the encyclopedia and trivial suggestions. In my opinion, the final destination of this information is Wikipedia. In  Wikipedia, there are not only professional information but also road maps, history.(Almost everything). For these reasons, people who have a question naturally get into the Wikipedia.
From the book I read, the human has a trait that wants to share and tell others what they know well. I think the positive effect of this was most improved in the Wikipedia.
In the future class in the 'Collective Intelligence', I want to study more about how the Wikipedia could improve their information in this positive way in numeral countries.
Many other websites are attempting to follow Wikipedia. But, I think i is hard to be well developed like Wikipedia. I have a concern about these websites' incorrect information.
