1. What do i know about wikipedia?

What i know about Wikipedia is that it is the one of the big search platform in the internet. And also the contents of the wikipedia is written by normal web users. Wikipedia article can be redistributed and corrected by anyone. There are many fields of contents in wikipedia such as politics and economy and culture. Wikipedia user can access to almost every fields of knowledge. The most important thing in wikipedia is that the information from wikipedia is not always true. For the reason that it is written by normal users, there are many possibities that the information is not correct. And also Citation is important for Wikipedia users. Since it can be written by anyone, it is neccessary not to copy other's work. And also, Citation from reliable source can convince others from suspicion.

2. What do i want to learn about it?

I have written articles since last semester. So i already knew basic interface and matters that require attentions. So i want to learn more details and intermediate interfaces on wikipedia. In this semseter, i want to try correct many articles which is not reliable and lack of sources.

    I also learned Wikipedia last semester. As you might expect, Wikipedia is a platform where people can collaborate. It can also be said to be a collection of big data formed by gathering data of several people. I also now want to learn more details of Wikipedia. W5. Can we trust Wikipedia? Yun-Jin Kim

Then I want to ask. Can we trust News? I think Wikipedia is based on sources. Every time we edit on Wikipedia we need the sources. If we don’t put sources, the information we wrote would be deleted.   So I think asking ‘How can we trust Wikipedia’ is kind of similar to ‘How can we trust News’. I know there could be subjective opinion on Wikipedia. If the topic is unpopular, the public opinion doesn’t focus, there’s could be no feedback and that makes Wiki subjective. for this reason, we have to think before we choose the topic in Wiki. If the topic isn’t famous enough and have no sources, we should think this information isn’t sure enough. but if the topic has clear sources we can have a trust on that information. I think it is not important to ask, ‘is the Wikipedia trustful’. It is important to ask ‘is this information on Wikipedia has a exact source?’.

These days lots of controversial problems are rising. And because of those problems, people fight on the Internet. But I think most of problems happen because of a lack of civic attitudes.
