Extra posting : how do we participate in Web 2.0? How do we create the modern-day culture? - Hyerim Won
We are already participating in Web 2.0 in a variety of ways. Anyone with a single device that has an Internet connection can be said to be participating. Anyone can easily become the main body of information, beyond the web 1.0, which is merely a collection of information.
One good example is YouTube. The ` vlog ` is popular these days and gives a strong sense of information that I only know this by showing someone's daily routines and providing information about restaurants, and tourist destinations. In addition, another example, Japanese people studying in Korea share the culture of Japan about fashionable things in Japan and unknown culture. This is more vivid than text. Facebook's travel group in Korea " Crazy for Travel "(as the number of Facebook platform users grows, the group now has 270,000 members.) is also a representative example. Information about travel and videos are posted on the group page. Beautiful videos become popular with members and are also shared on other pages. If this content is used to elicit sympathy from many people, it will be a culture through sharing and sharing.
So I think that culture today is shaped by compassion and public opinion. Culture is formed when it is not the culture that is consumed alone, but the mass use. The content that many people empathize with spreads across the Web 2.0 environment, creating a trend. As it becomes the driving force behind the culture of modern society, the related businesses are also increasing.

I agree with your opinion that we are already participating in Web 2.0 in a variety of ways. The participation can be the smallest by sharing cultural things and matters through our social media account and it also can be the biggest by being ourselves the source of the information.
ReplyDeleteWe all have the power to participate to the Web 2.0 from the moment we all have an access to internet.
